Recruiter & Trainer - Ford of Boerne

The  Recruiter / Trainer under the leadership of the Recruiting Director is responsible for partnering with our dealership’s business leaders to develop and execute effective talent acquisition strategies that enable the successful achievement of our business goals. The role is responsible for understanding the knowledge, skills, experience, and competency requirements for positions, and for sourcing top talent for current and future recruiting needs. In addition, this position is responsible for coaching and training all new hires for success. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manages full life-cycle recruitment process from initial application to new hire onboarding.
  • Develops recruitment strategies for assigned positions using various sourcing techniques including in-person recruiting, social media/search engine channels, events, and various other methods to address hard to fill positions.
  • Attracts and finds the right talent for each role, establishing rapport with potential candidates.
  • Utilizes and interprets various assessment methods in order to make the most valid and reliable decisions about a candidate's fit to our dealership, the team and role.
  • Responsible for onboarding and training of new employees for success. 
  • Effectively manages CRM tool to track, build, engage and report on candidate pipelines.
  • Provides regular updates to Recruiting Director on recruiting issues.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous automotive experience in sales or service, or previous management experience in a similar capacity. 
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university with 3-4 years of dealership or recruiting experience required.
  • Ability to utilize talent platforms and networking to develop candidate pipelines is required.
  • High sense of urgency and strong work ethic required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and strong phone presence required.
