Commercial / Fleet Sales Consultant - Ford of Boerne
The Automotive Commercial Fleet Sales Associate is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with business clients to promote and sell commercial vehicles. This role involves prospecting new fleet customers, managing current accounts, and providing tailored vehicle solutions that meet commercial needs. The ideal candidate will have strong sales skills, an understanding of the automotive industry, and the ability to work closely with businesses to optimize their fleet operations.
Job Responsibilities
Develop and maintain long-term relationships with commercial customers and fleet clients.
Prospect new business clients through networking, cold calling, in-person visits, and referrals.
Understand client needs to recommend the appropriate vehicles, upfitting options, and service packages.
Provide professional presentations and detailed quotes to commercial clients.
Maintain accurate records of customer contacts and sales activities in CRM software.
Collaborate with the finance and service departments to ensure smooth customer transactions.
Stay current on inventory, manufacturer incentives, financing options, and market trends.
Attend industry and local business events to promote dealership services and generate leads.
Meet or exceed sales targets and monthly quotas.
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent service before, during, and after the sale.
Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
2+ years of experience in automotive sales or B2B sales; fleet sales experience a plus.
Strong knowledge of commercial vehicle products, specifications, and industry trends.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
Proficient in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and general technology.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
