Ford of Pleasanton is now in our State-of-the-art facililty!! We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our Ford dealership’s service team. The Service Advisor is the link between our valued customers and the service department. You will be responsible for understanding customer vehicle concerns, recommending appropriate services, and ensuring a seamless repair and maintenance process. Your ability to provide exceptional service and maintain strong communication with both customers and technicians is essential to our success.
Greet customers promptly and professionally in the service lane.
Accurately document customer concerns and vehicle symptoms.
Provide repair and maintenance recommendations based on vehicle inspection and manufacturer guidelines.
Prepare detailed repair orders and explain estimates and services clearly to customers.
Act as a liaison between technicians and customers, ensuring clear communication of progress and expectations.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Ford products, services, and warranty coverage.
Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with services rendered.
Promote additional services and products when appropriate to enhance vehicle performance and customer safety.
Coordinate with the parts department to ensure timely availability of required parts.
Ensure a clean and organized service write-up area.
Prior experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer service role in the automotive industry preferred.
Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Working knowledge of dealership management systems (DMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
