Ford of Pleasanton, part of El Toro Auto Group, is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our accounting team.
We are looking for an organized individual who takes pride in accuracy, works well in a team environment, and can efficiently manage multiple accounting responsibilities. Previous automotive dealership accounting experience is preferred, but candidates with strong general accounting or bookkeeping experience are encouraged to apply.

Process and accurately record vendor invoices, payments, and accounts payable transactions.
Maintain accounts receivable records, post payments, and monitor outstanding balances.
Reconcile vendor statements and research discrepancies to ensure timely and accurate payments.
Assist with daily accounting transactions, deposits, and general ledger reconciliations.
Maintain organized and accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
Communicate with vendors, customers, and dealership departments to resolve billing and payment discrepancies.
Assist with month-end closing procedures and preparation of accounting reports.
Previous experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or general accounting required.
Automotive dealership accounting experience preferred.
Experience with Dealertrack DMS or similar dealership accounting software is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer applications.
Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
