Automotive Shop Foreman - Ford of Pleasanton

Ford of Pleasanton will be home to a brand new, multi-million dollar state-of-the art facility! Our new dealership will be climate controlled, contain over 50 service bays, brand new equipment, and have automatic high speed doors to keep the temperatures just right. We are seeking 1 shop foreman to lead the technicians in our shop. Now is the time to join the Ford of Pleasanton team to claim your spot in our new service department!

Requirements: 

• High school diploma or equivalent 
• 4+ years as a team lead or previous foreman
• 8+ years of experience in an automotive technical position
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Factory training credentials or ASE equivalent 
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with our customers and dealership personnel 
• Must be insurable and demonstrate impeccable honesty and integrity 

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure high quality of repair and servicing on all service vehicles
• Manage technician efficiency and overall shop production 
• Provide on-the-job assistance, training, and quality checks for technicians 
• Review diagnostic results and assist with test drives 
• Ensure that work orders are written accurately and match customer concerns
• Manage and coordinate all technician training 
• Maintain all shop equipment to ensure safety and coordinate necessary repairs 
• Report safety or integrity concerns to management
