Property Maintenance Technician

Position Summary

Ford of Boerne is seeking a dependable and skilled Property Maintenance Technician to maintain and support our dealership facility and other properties. This role is responsible for ensuring the properties, buildings, and equipment are clean, safe, and operating efficiently. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, responds quickly to issues, and contributes to a professional, well-maintained environment for both customers and employees.

Key Responsibilities

Facility Maintenance & Repairs

• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, doors, lighting, etc.)
• Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems to identify issues and prevent breakdowns
• Complete work orders in a timely and efficient manner

Grounds & Exterior Upkeep

• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of dealership grounds, parking lots, and service drive
• Coordinate or perform landscaping, trash removal, and general exterior upkeep
• Ensure signage, lighting, and exterior features are in proper working condition

Equipment & Safety

• Maintain and service facility equipment and tools
• Monitor and uphold safety standards across the property
• Assist with compliance-related facility needs and inspections

Operational Support

• Assist departments with facility-related needs (moving equipment, setting up work areas, etc.)
• Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors as needed
• Respond quickly to urgent maintenance requests

Qualifications

• 2+ years of general maintenance or facilities experience preferred
• Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Professional attitude and team-oriented mindset

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50+ pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work on feet for extended periods
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
