The shop porter will park and retrieve service clients cars in a friendly and professional manner, assist with cleaning the shop and assist dealership management when necessary. Job Responsibilities

• Greets customers on the service drive
• Parks cars in designated areas
• Retrieves cars for customers
• Cleans service shop floors daily
• Cleans mop buckets daily
• Empty trash cans in shop daily
• Assists in checking in new vehicle convoys
• Assists with service opening and closing duties
• Notifies service advisor if customers are waiting
• Keeps service drive free of vehicles
• Assists techs in moving inoperable vehicles
• Alerts Manager to any damage to clients’ vehicles
• Develop understanding of dealership processes so you can take your next step in your automotive career! 

Requirements

Clean driving record.  Must be able to drive a standard transmission.  

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently is required to stand, and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
